In August 2025, Gabler Maschinenbau GmbH, a member of the Possehl Group, acquired Kiel-based SubCtech GmbH. SubCtech is a leading international provider of high-tech systems for underwater energy supply and ocean monitoring, complementing the portfolio of the Gabler Group, which also includes Develogic and north.io.
The integration of SubCtech gives the Gabler Group access to innovative solutions for the rapidly growing market for underwater vehicles, offshore battery systems for renewable energies and oil and gas, and marine surveillance systems. At the same time, SubCtech benefits from the Gabler Group's robust sales infrastructure and maritime presence.
