Düring mainly develops, produces and sells robot welding guns, which are used in conjunction with fully automatic robot systems, especially in car body construction. In addition, Düring has a great deal of expertise in the construction of special systems and offers a wide variety of solutions for resistance welding. Düring serves its international clientele at five locations in four countries.
The company was founded by Karl and Ursula Düring and has grown into a successful, international family business. As a result of a lack of entrepreneurial succession, PMB acquired all shares in Düring Schweißtechnik GmbH in Königsbrunn near Augsburg in 2013. It is PMB's strength to continue and develop such companies in the long term while preserving their grown identity in the POSSEHL Group.
Of course, it was difficult for my wife and me to hand over the company to someone else after so many years. On the other hand, we are very happy to have found a trustworthy and long-term oriented shareholder in PMB, who will continue to run the company safely and successfully together with the existing management team.
