In February 2014, PMB signed the majority takeover of SAVO-TECHNIK ROTATIONSGUSS GmbH, based in Valluhn, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. SAVO has been manufacturing technically high-quality and sophisticated hollow bodies, such as water or fuel tanks, using the rotational molding process for more than 30 years. Well-known customers from mechanical engineering, medical technology, the automotive industry and water technology are among SAVO's customers.
The POSSEHL Group is already active in rotational molding with its Cleaning Machines division, so that additional synergies will result. Mario Schreiber, member of the Board of Management at POSSEHL responsible for this business unit, was very pleased about the acquisition of SAVO and also about the development of the business unit: "With SAVO, we can gain another well-positioned company for POSSEHL. It shows that
the concept of the "entrepreneurial group", which we have been living at POSSEHL for years, is very popular and not only in the case of an unresolved succession in the family or in the company."
